Experience
2024 - Current | Campfire Learning | Learning Experience Specialist
In my current position as a Learning Experience Specialist for Campfire Learning, I specialize in walking our publishing clients through the start to finish process creating a digital presence for their content. I also serve as our marketing lead, creating marketing collateral and social media content.
2021 - 2024 | Region 10 Educational Service Center | Data Solutions Consultant
As a consultant with Region 10, I trained on data management systems and integrated data analysis and response to intervention best practices. I then moved into the role of Ed-Tech development for our in-house service center digital products. I worked on both the development and marketing of our products.
2019 - 2021 | Richardson Independent School District | Spring Valley Elementary School
As an Instructional Coach, I enhanced campus teaching practices by providing professional development, modeling effective teaching strategies, and mentoring educators, while also partnering with administration to develop advanced methods for analyzing and responding to school data. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I helped lead the campus through the shift to online learning and also stepped in as the 6th-grade Math and Science teacher for a year when the campus was without one.
2015-2018 | Del Valle Independent School District | Instructional Coach
As an Instructional Coach, I developed campus teaching practices through professional development, model teaching, and mentoring. I also collaborated with administration to create a sophisticated method for analyzing, communicating, and responding to school data.
2013-2015 | Del Valle Independent School District | Teacher
I taught as a self-contained fourth-grade teacher in 2013-14 and later specialized as a Math and Science departmentalized fourth-grade teacher in 2014-15. Throughout this time, I maintained a Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) centered classroom, effectively managing students with emotional and behavioral disorders.
I developed a data-driven, constructivist instructional practice tailored to meet the needs of each individual learner. Additionally, I had the opportunity to host and mentor a University of Texas intern and a student teacher, providing guidance and support as they developed their teaching skills.
2013 | University of Texas Elementary Charter School | Teacher
As a summer enrichment teacher, I taught 4th and 5th grade students during a summer enrichment program aimed at supporting struggling learners. During this time, I designed engaging lessons specifically crafted to keep students' minds active and combat summer learning loss.
2007 - 2010 | Los Angeles Unified School District | Substitute Teacher
As a daily Substitute Teacher, I taught students from PreK through 5th grade across general education, special education, ESL, and bilingual classrooms. I worked with students from diverse backgrounds, various socioeconomic environments, and different primary languages, adapting to a wide range of school settings.
